In a small temple town of Madhya Pradesh, the Holkar family utilises the beautiful premises around the Ahilya Temple to employ and nurture the traditional talent of weaving maheshwari saris and fabrics. Most importantly they employ and empower hundreds of women from the city.

Textile designer and my close friend  Shibani Shetty was my partner in this craft travel escapade.
